Craftsmanship & Care

How are the items shipped?

We ship our products using trusted courier services to ensure they reach you quickly. To guarantee they arrive in perfect condition, every vanity is packed in cardboard boxes with high-density foam protection and placed on a dedicated heavy-duty crate. All shipments are fully insured for your peace of mind - in the rare event of transit damage, we have you covered.

Why is Kaia different from other vanities?

Our background in cabinet making drives our obsession with quality. We don't just sell furniture; we build it using true craftsmanship. Our vanities feature solid teak wood for exceptional bathroom durability, while specific structural parts utilise engineered teak veneer board to ensure long-term stability. With solid timber drawers, dovetail joins, and soft-close runners, every piece is built to last.

Why are some items on pre-order?

We build our vanities in efficient monthly batches. This helps us maintain strict quality control while offering exceptional value for money to our clients. While we aim to keep items in stock and ready to ship, our collections frequently sell out during the pre-order phase due to high demand. Pre-ordering is the best way to secure your allocation.

What benchtop is included?

Unless otherwise noted, our vanities come standard with a premium engineered teak top. However, we have designed this top to be removable. This gives you the flexibility to add your own stone top (sourced from your local stonemason) if you prefer a different aesthetic for your bathroom.

Is Teak wood safe for bathrooms?

Absolutely. Teak is one of the few timbers in the world naturally rich in rubber and oils, making it inherently resistant to moisture and rot. It is the same wood used on luxury yacht decks for centuries. We finish ours with a high-grade sealant to ensure it handles high-humidity bathroom environments perfectly.

Are they hard to install?

No. We design our units with standard plumbing layouts in mind. The vanities come fully assembled (no flat packs!) and include a plumbing void behind the drawers. We provide detailed downloadable specification sheets to give to your builder or plumber.
